Chris Pappas

President & CEO

Chris Pappas has worked in Masonry Construction since 1982, serving in a variety of roles including estimating, contract negotiations, brick laying, and project management. His thirty years of experience allow him to effectively oversee all daily operations at Telligent, and ensure that every project conforms to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. To Chris, every project, no matter how large or small, is a matter of personal pride.

Michael Pappas

Vice President

Michael Pappas has worked with Telligent Masonry since 2005, starting as a laborer and then intern. After graduating from the University of Miami, he continued his construction career in both the field and project management with duties including Superintendent, PM, QC Manager, Scheduler and now serves as Vice President. With over fifteen years of masonry construction experience, Michael is a key long-term asset to the company.

Jason Roberts

Director of Human Resources

Jason Roberts joined Telligent Masonry in 2021 as HR Director. A dynamic, multi-faceted and successful professional, Jason brings with him over thirty-years of success in the Construction, Technology, Education and Non-Profit industries. A carpenter by trade, and previous owner and operator of a construction company, Jason has over twenty years of executive experience as well as a degree in secondary education from Howard Community College. Jason's diplomacy, tact, and ability to communicate are what distinguishes him as a great leader of Telligent's Human Resources Department. He plans, leads, directs, develops and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of Telligent's Human Resources Department, ensuring compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy. 

Joel Ackerman

Director of Estimating

Joel Ackerman began working with Telligent Masonry in 2016. He completed his Bacherlor’s degree in Business and Economics at Ursinus College and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Construction Management from Montgomery College. Starting as an estimator, he quickly grew into the role of Pre-Construction Manager and is responsible for coordinating with the estimating department to ensure all bids and budgets receive the highest level of accuracy, quality, and timelines. He currently serves on the ABC.XYZ Committee and ABC Craftmasters Board of Trustees and graduated at Platinum Level from the ABC Leadership Development Program.

Tranquilino Villegas

General Superintendent

Tranquilino Villegas has more than thirty-five years in the Masonry Construction industry, and Telligent Masonry, completing well over half a billion dollars in masonry construction. During these years, he has learned the trade as a laborer, mason, equipment operator, foreman, superintendent and now general superintendent. Tranquilino uses his vast expertise of the trade and his proven track record of completing projects inside the tight physical and schedule constraints of our clients serving as Telligent Masonry’s General Superintendent overseeing all project sites. A decisive yet diplomatic leader, Tranquilino leads Telligent’s 500+ craftsmen and women empowering them by offering guidance while allowing them to grow independently and educating the next generation. He was honored for his expertise as the 2010 Associated Builders and Contractors National Masonry Craftsman of the year and has been instrumental in leading Telligent’s ABC National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award-Winning projects.

Tina Cron

Human Resources and Payroll Manager

Tina Cron began working with Telligent Masonry in 2012, currently serving as the Payroll Manager. With an MBA from University of Maryland, University College, Tina manages payroll for over 500 employees and develops key administrative plans and procedures relating to company personnel.

Kayla Evans

Senior Pre-Construction Manager

Kayla Evans has been in the Masonry Construction industry since 2011 and now serves as a Senior Pre-Construction Manager for Telligent Masonry. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Project Management and in 2019 graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Master’s of Business Administration. Kayla graduated from ABC’s Leadership Development Program at the Platinum Level and completed the Grinnell Leadership Jump Start Program. She coordinates the efforts of a team of highly talented masonry estimators with over 100 years of combined experience, enabling Telligent Masonry to provide accurate cost estimates and comprehensive scopes of work on all projects.

Geoff Bean

Senior Estimator

Geoff Bean has been with Telligent Masonry for over thirty years and as a Senior Estimator and has become an invaluable resource to our Estimating Department with a total of over 40+ years of construction experience. Geoff’s meticulous take-offs always provide our customers with accurate proposals for competitive bids. He provides the project management team with precise quantities to help projects run smoothly every time. Geoff received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Business and Management at the University of Maryland.

Blake Pappas


Blake Pappas has been in the Masonry Construction industry since 2013. He obtained his construction management degree from Ashford University and currently serves as a Superintendent for Telligent Masonry. One of Blake's key projects with the company earned himself the prestigious ABC National’s Eagle Award for Excellence in Masonry Construction on the Signature at Reston Town Center. Attending onsite meetings and relaying important information from the field to the office is part of just one of his many roles at Telligent. Blake coordinates all work carried out by the field and acts as a liaison between various parties that assist with all teams to ensure the projects are finished to successful and optimal completion. He oversees the foreman and crews on site directly, maintaining the schedules to prevent conflicts in the workflow while ensuring that overall productivity is met and performed with safety and accuracy.
